IFS + Brainspotting Therapy Intensives For High Net Worth Individuals
Wealth has fixed a lot.
But it hasn’t fixed everything.
You've built something really significant and made decisions most people never have to make.
But somewhere along the way, you noticed something strange.
The thing that's really keeping you up at night isn't a money problem. And it's still challenging you, regardless of what the bank balance says.
Most people assume that if you can't fix something, with all the resources you have, it must not be that serious. So it stays hidden, often even with people close to you.
There's a second problem, too.
You've spent years developing good instincts to know when someone is properly equipped to handle what's in front of them.
That instinct doesn't switch off when you're looking for a therapist. Sitting across from someone who's never worked with anything close to the scale or complexity your life involves can feel like handing something serious to the wrong person.
Your life doesn't run at general-population scale, and most general therapy or counselling training was never built to meet it.
The Approach
I work with Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Brainspotting and am trained to the highest level the IFS Institute offers, and to Phase 5 in Brainspotting.
IFS works from a simple premise: you are made up of different parts, the driver, the protector, the part that performs, the part that never quite rests, and each of them developed for a reason. This work doesn't try to override those parts. It gets to know them, and helps them unburden what they've been carrying, often for decades.
Brainspotting works underneath language, at the level of the nervous system, to process what talk alone can't always reach. For people used to solving problems by thinking their way through them, this can be unfamiliar, and often, it's exactly what finally moves something that hasn't moved before.
Together, in an intensive format, this work goes as deep as your life actually requires it to.
What We Work On
The things you have never said to anyone, because there wasn’t anyone who felt equipped to hear them.
The isolation of being surrounded by people and still feeling entirely alone with what you're carrying.
A suspicion, however unfair, of not knowing who actually wants you and who wants what you have.
The identity questions, and the pressures, that don't disappear just because the balance sheet looks good.
The relationships that have become transactional, and the grief of that, even when no one else can see it.
The parts of you that formed long before any of this, that still run the show more than you'd like to admit.
This is the work.
Who this is for
You've built real, significant wealth, through a business, an exit, a career, or a family structure, and something underneath it still isn't settled.
You've tried therapy before and found the conversation either stayed too surface, or became about the money itself.
You're used to being the most capable person in most rooms.
You're ready to do real work, not to be told that money can or can't buy happiness. You already know the complexity. You're looking for solutions that will make a big difference to you and your life.
FAQs
Will you actually understand my situation?
1
I work with founders, executives, and individuals whose lives operate at real scale and complexity, financially, professionally, and often across multiple countries. What you're carrying underneath the success and the wealth is the actual work, and that's where our focus stays.
Is this confidential?
2
Completely. Everything discussed stays between us, subject only to the standard legal and strict ethical exceptions I'll outline at the start of our work. For clients whose visibility or public profile makes privacy a particular concern, we can discuss additional practical arrangements as part of setting up the work.
Do you work with people internationally?
3
Yes. I work with clients across the UK, US, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Australia. Intensives are delivered online unless you apply for an in-person retreat.
What if my situation involves family wealth, a family business, or people beyond just me?
4
That's common, and it's something we can work with. The focus of an individual intensive stays on you, but I'm well used to working with clients whose lives are entangled with family systems, family businesses, or complex financial structures involving other people.
How is this different from working with a coach
or an advisor?
5
Coaches and advisors are excellent at strategy, structure, and accountability. This is different. The patterns we work with here aren't strategic, they're older than that, held in the nervous system, not in how well you can plan, execute or succeed.
what an intensive looks like
Intensives are bespoke and built around you.
Full day, two-day, and three-day formats are available, structured around your schedule, timezone, and what the work actually calls for.
All packages include preparation work before we begin and integration support during and after.
Individual intensives start from $4,500 per day.
your therapist
I'm Lucy Orton, a British, Australian-registered (ACA) counsellor, IFS Level 3 therapist (the IFS Institute's highest standard of training), Certified Sex Therapist and Phase 5 Brainspotting Therapist.
I work exclusively in an intensive format with high-achievers, high net worth individuals, founders, and health professionals.
My intensive clients are used to being capable and in control, and to being the ones other people bring their problems to. Very few people in their own life are equipped to hold what they're carrying. That's often what brings them here.
I bring warmth, precision, and real commitment to every intensive. I will not rush you, and I will not water things down. You will be held with care and challenged with compassion in equal measure.

“What I didn't expect was someone who could match my pace, see through every layer of professional armour, and still make me feel completely safe. “
— TECH LEADER, PORTUGAL
“By the end of the week I woke up and genuinely liked who I was. I hadn't felt that in a long time. If you're a high-performer who thinks he's too complex or too self-aware to be helped - you're exactly who this is for."
